Datatek Corp closed 30.Sept.2005; this warranty is no longer valid.
Datatek Corp. warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of five years from date of delivery. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser. This warranty does not apply to fuses, lamps, rechargeable batteries (which are warranted for ninety days), or LCD switches (which are warranted for one year). Any products or parts which have been subject to misuse, neglect, accident or abnormal conditions of operation are also not covered by this warranty.
In the event of a failure of a product under this warranty, Datatek Corp. will repair at no charge the product returned to it at its factory. Datatek may, at its option, replace the product in lieu of repair. If the failure has been caused by misuse, neglect, accident or abnormal conditions of operation, repairs will be invoiced at a nominal cost. In such case, an estimate will be submitted before work is started, if requested.

The foregoing warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness or adequacy for any particular purpose or use. Datatek Corp. shall not be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages.

A return authorization is not required in sending products for repair. They should be shipped to Datatek prepaid and preferably in their original packing carton. A form or letter should be included giving return shipping address, party to whose attention the product is to be sent, and full details of the difficulty.
