The Datatek D-2800 Routing Switcher reflects the experience of Datatek's 30 years in the design and manufacture of broadcast quality routing switchers. With a large number of systems in use worldwide, the D-2800 is available for:

A standard 11RU mounting frame is used as a "building block" to configure medium to large size systems. Expansion beyond the basic frame capacity is accomplished by additional frames, without the need for distribution amplifiers or secondary switching matrices. Systems smaller than the basic frame capacity are accomplished by deleting plug-in modules. Matrix sizes and signal formats may be mixed in a single frame, up to the frames' capacity.
